I'd like to know if there is a scheduled bus that departs the Cleveland Hopkins International airport to the Canton/N. Canton area? I don't need door-to-door service to any particular spot in Canton, just a means to get there without many hassles, ie, taxis and transfers. What service do you recommend and do they have a website?

I do realize that there is an airport that has scheduled service into Canton/Akron. The best fare and best flights are into Cleveland from Orlando and I'm just looking for a simple bus service that operates from Cleveland (Hopkins International) to the Canton area. I'm aware of Lakefront Bus Lines that operates one bus per day. Does anyone know of any other options that aren't stretch limos that cost $40/hour or more?

For those who continue to give me CAK as an option.... too late! The ticket to Cleveland was $118 roundtrip and nonstop flights vs. connecting flights into CAK! Please help me by answering my question, not giving alternatives.... Thanks

I would call some of the larger hotels near you and ask if they offer a shuttle service to Cleveland Hopkins. It's probably your best and cheapest bet. It would surprise me if there aren't regularly scheduled shuttles from the Akron/Canton area to Hopkins, but perhaps the Akron/Canton airport has stifled demand....
Alternatively, offer a friend/relative some money to drive you to Hopins and pick you up.

Why not rent a car? If driving yourself is not an option then I suggest once you get off the at Hopkins to take a taxi down to Canton. I doubt there is a bus service from the airport to Canton. Other options would be taking the RTA, Red Line Rapid station which is located inside the airport, take it to Tower City and then walk down to the Greyhound bus station which is located at 12th & Chester. I think rent a car to take a taxi those would be less hastle.

Well, I know that Cleveland has RTA and Greyhound, you can try those. But did you know there is an airport in that area, the Akron-Canton airport? If you can have your trip routed to that airport, you can save youself some hassle.

In addition to the great restaurants already mentioned, I would add: Muse at The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland in Tower City, Cleveland. The Grotto on Merriman in Akron - - great food. Red Steakhouse in Beachwood. Bon appetite!

bout time you spend money going to cleveland to fly you could have just bought a ticket for cak... actually alot of flights are cheaper through cak try airtrans they have flights to orlando
