Put up with the yelling for another couple of months. But take $500 per month and put it into a savings account, so you can eventually afford to move out.

If you cannot afford to save $500, you cannot afford to live alone. So this will be a risk free way to find out.

$300? Yeah, that's very pricy for what you're getting, but right now, I would focus on getting a better job. Are you in college? Talk with your father to see if you can stop paying rent for a while, or at least decrease the amount of rent you are paying, to go to school (or go back) to get a better job.

You didn't state your age and the financial situation of your family. If you are a 18 or 19 years of age, this is a little steep. Two hundred a month and assisting with household chores should be enough. You might think about attending college so that you can better your income while still living at home.

Yeah i think that $300 dollars is alot of money to stay in a room but parents is parents and they are going to be always right. I think you should save up money to move or get another job to save money or just deal with it. its life we all have to do something we don't like.

Poke around the neighborhood and price some garage apartments in the area. You might be able to find one for that much, where you won't have to listen to all the yelling.
Take your next paycheck and put it down on the deposit.

Try to find a better paying job, or pay the rent.Look around some more and PRAY .The LORD knows your situation and cares and HE can find you something you can afford.
