Well, what should we do? Act like we can't make a rational argument??
We have that ability to do so. The difference is that BY our faith we contend. There are Christians who have discovered great scientific things all in the name of Jesus. Check out a film call "A Case for A Creator." This Christian man destroys Darwin's theories to dust.
Also, you say "we"... you do not sound like a Christian with a question like that. Or possibly you may be bitter about something. If I were you, I'd examine myself and see which way my feet are pointing... towards Heaven or toward the ways of the world.
God bless.

We all believe some things by faith...
Scientists have faith in their theories.
Atheists have faith that there is no God.
Theists have faith that there is a God(s).
All try to make rational and logical arguments that are according to their specific beliefs/faith, based on what each believe to be reason and fact.
Christians know God exists and that He is an active and dynamic influence in their life. Their experiences are the reason and the factual basis for their beliefs. The proof is within them. Can we use rational and logical arguments to prove love, or God, to another person? We can explain the concepts, historical proofs, and share the testimonies from others... but the person needs the individual experience to understand all the implications and reasons for the belief/faith.

These arguments are tests of faith and they are used to increase our faith in God. Sometimes God just has to push us to the point where things can get ugly just so that we can focus our attention on Him. Even the most faithful followers of God go through these stuff. God doesn't turn around and treat us that way, nor is he playing with us, everything He does is to help us improve our faith in Him.

We have faith in God just as atheists have faith that God doesn't exist. ( Have you read the book"I don't have enough faith to be an atheist"?) What we are saying is that it isn't a blind faith but one based on verifiable history and facts.

In order to recieve the Holy Spirit, one must first have faith. Faith is the cornerstone of a relationship with God. Without it, God cannot dwell within us.

Sin is like a disease.
God loves all people, but sin cannot exist in Him.
So he gave us a choice (see John 3:16)
Therefore if you do not accept the blood of Jesus (how dare us say God is unfair!), the disease will be quarantined- even if it is still in you! (see John 12:48)
Take it or leave it, God gives you freewill to choose.
Choose wisely.

By using the arguement that God is in the world around you, you have just proven any god's existance.
You are right. Faith is faith. I know damn well I can't prove my gods. I have no desire to. You either hear them or you don't.
If you want to know why pagans dont' get crap from atheist that's why. We have no desire to make them or anyone else believe for that matter. We respect thier right to believe what they want to.

Right. So there is no way to convince atheists, and no reall reason to. They dont operate on faith because they dont have any faith in God

Well as people, I believe we want to believe in something, to give life a meaning. We want to defend what we believe because we want to think that we are not wrong. Christians don't want to hear people tell us their religious theories, nor do they want us to preach to them our beliefs. The bible was written by humans a long time ago. Religion was the hot thing a long time ago and more people had religion, life was tough and they wanted to believe in something, but the available religion was right to them, so they come up with Christianity, and they made a book that would explain the "beginning" and they wanted rules to follow; ergo, the bible.

Rational arguments serve to increase our faith in God....just like Jesus showed the apostles evidence of His power and sovereignty in the form of miracles so that they might have greater faith.
