Modern genetics show that, following a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. If all the people on earth were to intermarry freely, and then break into random groups that kept to themselves, a whole new set of gene combinations could emerge. It may be possible to have almond eyes with black skin, blue eyes with black, tightly curled hair, etc. Most scientists now agree that, for modern humans, "race" has little or no biological meaning. This also argues strongly against the idea that the people groups have been evolving separately for long periods.

First, I'm not Christian. I'm a pagan priestess. I've studied over 10 years on religion in general and feel I know quite a bit on the subject.
So... if you read the bible (and I'm assuming you do/have) you'll find if you skip ahead to Cain and Abel you'll find something interesting: Cain is afraid to be harmed by the "other people" and is marked by God so that he won't be. Where did these "other people" come from??? Perhaps, Adam and Eve were created by YVHV and the "other people" were created by other Deities??
Interesting thought, huh?
Blessings to you.

It would be perfectly possible for a variety of races to arise from two people, given sufficient time (400,000 years or so). They'd first breed enough to create a large, homogenous population. As they spread to different areas, different features would arise. The gene long noses, for example, would be evolutionarily advantageous in a cold country, because it would warm and humidify the air breathed in.
Enough of those traits and different races would develop.
That doesn't mean it happened.

You're gonna love this: Mutation through natural selection.
There is a tribe in Africa with the genetic traits of EVERY human race expressed in their bodies. They have brown skin, kinky hair, epicanthric folds, and I forget what else. It's likely that they are very similar to Adam and Eve.

We are only told about Adam and Eve because that is the lineage to Abraham to Moses to David, to Jesus, that is what we have to be concerned about learning, how and why? God never said there were not other people created, God just tells us of the story of how our Savior got here.

You can readily show that it is genetically impossible. It provides an insufficient gene pool to account for the observed gene pool present on Earth today. Hence the theory that humankind started with two individuals is provably wrong.
