I am sorry I know you are tired of answering the same question over and over but my question is directed to those who think that the british lady deserves what happened to her.

For those who think the British lady deserves what happened to her, do you think prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is happy with what the Sudani Police did. We all know that prophet's Muhammed job was to teach people about Islam and attracts them to it so they endorse it. However, what the Sudani police did is just the opposite of that. They gave a bad idea about Islam and people now probably hate Islam more than before because of that action. They are just driving people away of Islam. Just the opposite of what prophet Muhammed wanted and did, so do you think he is happy with them?

I know that story when the Jewish man said Alsamu Alaykom instead of Alsalam Alaykom but as far as I know I am not sure if it is Prophet Muhammed or his wife replied by "Waalaykom mithlama thakartom" which means what ever you said you are saying to yourself as well.
For those who don't know what is meant by Alsamu, it means poison.
and yes they didn't act like the sudani police. We should take their quick wit and wisdom as an example.

Peace

Really are you serious, I thought Muhammed is still alive?!

My question is he was still alive would he agree with what the Sudani police did?
For those who give stupid answers, please don't answer my question. I don't give free points.
Peace

happily happy, sorry to burst your bubble but muslims have named toys after prohpet names, for example a toy named Adam, which is the name of a prophet.

Mimi, an illistrative story of the kind of example that prophet muhammad pbuh set for us is when a jewish man greeted him with " alsumu alaikum " instead of "alsalammu alaikum". Whereas it infuriated his wife, he calmed her down and left the matter alone. He did not go and order people to capture that jewish man or to kill him. Why should we? Why do we not follow that example, but instead over react at the slightest offence?I think what that man did was far worst than that innocent mistake that woman did.She did not realize it was offensive, plain and simple. A verbal explanation would have been sufficient.
This is not something that islam teaches us.

There is a saying in arabic " enlarge problems, they grow larger, make them smaller and they become smaller"
A similar saying in english: Do not make a mountain out of a mourn hill.

Of course the Prophet Mohammed pbuh would not be happy with the Sudani police. Their's not the correct way. Muslims should follow to peaceful example set by the prophet.

What I wonder why those who were so quick to condemn some hapless , none Muslim woman, who made a innocent mistake of blasphemy..
But won't condemn the Sudani Imams' (who have no excuse of ignorance) who are bringing Islam into disrepute by their whipping up hatred and organising riots.

Who is more guilty? Who is committing the greater blasphemy? Why won't some Muslims here condemn these rioters?

This story has been blown out of proportion. I think everybody needs to let go of it. There is a law in every country and ignorance of the law is not an excuse. The woman made a mistake and the punishment was 15 days in prison. Whether this is right or wrong is not an issue because there is injustice everyday in every court in this world. It is just the media that hates Islam keeps propagating this story just because Islam is involved.

I advice all Muslims to not answer or respond to any question about this issue anymore whether from a muslim or a non muslim.

You should first clear up your mind that your question assumes a wrong logic that is "PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) IS HAPPY...." .

Prophet Muhammad PBUH is not alive and has passed away and can no longer see the worldy affairs , Only Allah is All Hearer and All Seeing

I think that we dont really know the truth about Then Sudanese event as media converage is not very good and western media is always biased.

i can not make any comment as i have not seen the full details of that teddy bear issue. Words are words, some are said profanely which anger others, while to others it is not. So, we need to know HOW the word was stated and not WHAT the word was said.

''My question is he was still alive would he agree with what the Sudani police did?''

NO. For the simple reason that Prophet Muhammed was not harsh or injust, and this punishment is harsh and injust.

Hadith :

“Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud)

I agree with you mimi... and starwhite and B who I think gave you great answers. Prophet Muhammad (Salallahu alaihi wa salaam) was never harsh or people would have run a mile from Islam, such is life.

Salaam.

Can't believe that a person here actually said this event has been blown out of proportion...

There are thousands of Muslims protesting in Sudan demanding that the teacher be shot... HOW could you blow that out of proportion?
