Yes, it started about three years ago. I had a bet with this gal at work. I had to lose 20 pounds and she had to lose ten.

I lost twenty five pounds doing the Adkins diet. She didn't loose any. I felt so good I started to run too.

I continued to lose weight and lost a total of sixty pounds and ended up running the San Fransisco Marathon.

I ran two more marathons since then but injured my knee in the last one. At my running peak I was running twenty-five to thirty-five miles a week with my dog. It was amazing and when I recover from my knee surgery I will be out there doing it again.

I started running at forty five.

I lost 90 pounds about 6 years ago. It started when I had a check up and realized I'd already lost 15 and found my glucose over the top. I decided I would lose some more and see if I could eventually control the diabetes 2 without using medications. So I started a very low carb diet. I couldn't exercise because of spinal problems. I was never hungry and the weight came off. Now I eat most anything I want but I don't use sugar and only have dessert on holidays. I've kept it all off! And I haven't taken medication for the diabetes for over five years.

I lost 41 lbs total. I changed the desire or want to a need or have to have. I made a firm final decision to get what I wanted with no allowance for failure. I used a cleansing and fat burning program from Isagenix. It worked better and faster that anything I have ever tried (I have tried alot of things). Durring my weightloss period, I didn't execise at all. Now, I exercise to firm, tone and grow my muscles. I still have a little ways to go but the battle has been won. Now I work out on my bowflex and I do 100 pushups, crunches and lunges 4-5 days a week. If you have any questions, email me.

Yes I have. Motivation was a bet. I ate only salad with chicken or tuna for protein. I worked out 3 to 4 times a week at the gym on a treadmill and an exercise bike.

Well I joined weight watchers. I got their plan. After 1 month I quit. I stayed on the plan by myself and lost 30 lbs. I had to think of it as a new way of life NOT a diet.

I was anorexic for a period of time when I was younger. I dont reccomend that.

I lost a bunch of weight naturally after my first son. I stopped eating so many carbs and walked a lot. It peeled right off. Sadly after my second child I havent been as lucky. This weight just stuck!

yes:]

the biggest loser motivated me.. because i never wanted to end up looking like that or nearly dying from heart disease and whatnot.

my diet.. is pretty normal-just i gave up stuff like oreos, candy, chocolate milk, hubig pies, and etc but i still eat them RARELY

my exercise routine switches up every 3-4 weeks. i go to channel one-on demand [cable] and go to freezone under that on the 2nd page they have health and fitness and under that they have exercise tv and this other thing that contain MANY exercise programs.
i exercised for about an hour when i first started back in june now i only exercise for like 30-40mins

Yep, my motivation was when my clothes didn't fit right.
I added more cardio to my routine, eat very low carb and high protein and drank tons of water.
