i have an optimus digital camera its 5.0 mega pixels if that helps or anythingg and it wont turn onn the last time i turned it off there wasnt any battery leftt so i'm trying to charge it but it wont chargee or turn on whats wrongg???

there is suppose to be a lilttle light that comes on but its not going onnn and the hitting the battery didnt workk :\\\

1check make sure when you charge the camera there is somekind of little light on indicating that is being charged (at least on my camera it is)
2take out the battery and hit it a little and try charging again.

Try going to the manufacturer's website and trouble shoot the problem there. If that doesn't help, take it to a camera store like Ritz Camera and ask them to help.

If it uses AA, make sure you get rechargeables and Charge before inserting it in camera.
