It's your choice, you can do what you like with your Sundays. I have been to quite a few Churches and some of them I didn't like and some of them I did. You can't really say that you hate everything about Church, there are so many different Churches and you have probably only been to a few of them. Some Churches play traditional music and others play more modern stuff, some Churches meet in old traditional buildings and others meet in peoples houses. You can't really bunch all the Churches together and say you just generally don't like Church.

The whole concept of "going to church" is a lie. 'Church' is what we are to become by the transforming power of the Logos.
Many so called 'churches' are nothing more that business clubs masquerading as 'houses of God'.
On a Sunday, it is best to find rest within yourself and come to the light in your own way, than be puffed up with 'self-righteousness' by 'going to church'.
Many 'church' building cost millions to build and maintain, while there are people starving to death on their very doorsteps.
Hardly following in the example of Jesus.
To know God is to love God and to love your fellow man - no need to 'go to (any) church' to learn how to do that.

The same thing I think about people that go to church, No favoritism here. I've slept a couple Sundays in myself.

Not all religious people believe in organized religion. Some people are disabled and cannot go to church, so they listen to the radio or TV sermon. My 92 year old neighbor looks forward to that every week. I believe God is all around us every day if we just look. Sitting in the first pew and singing the songs doesn't mean you are any closer.

I think you should find a new church. If you don't like the style of the church you are going to, look for another one that you like better. Many churches play more contemporary music now and you might find some people that you connect with. Don't give up because you don't like one church.

I'm sure you can find something better to do than sleep all day. But if your choice is really between church and sleep then go back to sleep.

I like you. You're just like me. There are better things to be doing on the weekend than wasting time in a building most likely full of hypocrites and liars.

Maybe it's not that you don't like going to Church but maybe you just haven't found the one that is right for you. You should try going to different churches in your area.
