Like most red, orange, yellow and dark green fruits and veggies, carrots contain beta carotene which the body converts to Vitamin A.

A diet that includes 5-10 daily servings of fruits and veggies helps general health including eye health; there is nothing special about carrots compared to other veggies. There are specific eye diseases associated with extreme lack of vitamin A; they are only seen in starving people.

If you do not have a Vitamin A deficiency disease then carrots and other foods will not improve your eye sight.

yes carrot & other yellowish vegetables contain vitaminA u can consume that in sponage ,liver, beans & nuts as well.
It is fine for ones eye sight u may get it in a glass of fresh carrot juice if u do not like the taste do not hesitate to mix it with orange juice...it contains vitamin C & the mixture is great both in taste & being so healthy...
But one should not exceed the amount of vitamin A
