I do not agree with you. I enjoy my Christian friends that I have at church.

I think a bar is the worst place to make new friends. But church isn't a great place, either.

Not me. Our church, St Paul's Lutheran Church in Raritan, NJ is quite friendly. Everyone gets along just fine.

Jesus is not, in a way, shape, or form, "the church".
Churches today have very little in common with Jesus' teachings.
I agree, by the way. Most people you find in church are only there out of fear, and that is not someone I would ever want to be friends with.

Oh totally disagree. I take the kids to a UU church and I have great friends there. The same goes for my kindred. Wonderful people.

Well since Jesus is The Church, why do you think people who share the Spirit wouldn't be a good place to make friends, would you rather have friends with satan.

the church is the best place to meet and make new friends, as you are already part of the family of God it is a family reunion in a sense....

I think that it is a great place to meet new people. They share the love of God and are usually very welcoming nice people.
