Price of Petrol is simply "administered"price. The free market doesn't dictate the price.Thailand and India are doing the same way. Both the countries import a huge requirement of the country from abroad. It seems petrol is highly subsidised in Thailand.....much higher than what India does.
Thai Petro product consumption is much less compared to India's.India produces about 20 times more petrol from its own source than the total requirement of Thailand.Indian Needs , Indian Economy , Indian GDP cannot be compared with a small country like Thailand.
The other day , I saw a person asking "when will India become like Singapore?"
Is it a question worth respnding to.It could be ' when will an Indian Port City become like Singapore?"
India is a huge country ...in size, in its population and having wide diversity ....it's a "miniatutre world".I don't find any other country in the world having 50% of the attributes India has.
