I conveted the file i wanted and now i am left with a folder and some files that say videocd.bin videocd.cue how do i burn this to a cd-r without nero so i can play it in my dvd player

Those are CD image file. Most cd burning software should support burning a cd from a cd image. If it doesn't, then that software is not worth using.

Just look for any burning option that says "image, image file, cd image, dvd image" anything that has image.

If you are on windows, use http://cdburnerxp.se/ Its everything the basic burning program should be, but isn't.

If you're on Linux, use K3b. Its the fastest burning tool in the universe. No seriously, it's really fast!
