i smoke, i drink i occasionaly indulge in the smoking of less legal thc producing weeds that grow in dirt, i belive stringently in sex before marriage and practice my belief, when i go rock climbing i do so without a harness because of this lifestyle i am likley to buy the proverbial farm and push up the daisys before 90 percent of the population, however i honestly belive that the quality of my short life will be greater than if i was a teetotaling religeous zealot who may well live into his hundreds (thats paradoxic really teetotalers suffer from heart attacks more than conservative drinkers due to the healthy thinning of the blood caused by alcohol) anyway you get my drift. question is is it better to live a long life by strict rules or trade in some time on the planet for a bit of fun, i dont know if theres an afterlife but frankly my opinion is id like to do a whole load of crazy **** before i find out whats your opinion?

p.s. sorry if i offended any teetotaling religeous zealot

I use to be and think just like you! Then I became a Christian and life is way more fun that what it use to be. I know you don't believe that and it is okay with me if you don't. You just have to experience life as a Christian to understand the joy and fun that comes with a relationship with Jesus. But you know, quality is better than quanity, I agree with you on that one. I have had so much joy and happiness (along with hard times also), but if I were to die today, my life was fulfilling and very content.

So, you're going for a Darwin Award?

Look, there is an old saying, "Moderation in all things." There's no reason that a person who rarely drinks and saves sex for marriage *can't* have an extremely fun, loving, happy life.

If your hedonistic lifestyle pleases you and harms nobody else, then of course nobody is going to stop you. You're free to live the way you wish to live. I daresay, though, that you jeopardize the psychological and physical health of your sexual partners -- or should I say "conquests" -- and if you were to die tragically young due to your disdain for basic personal safety, it would affect your parents and close friends and other people who love you in a negative way. I know you're probably not accustomed to placing other people's needs and feelings above your own, but you might consider it and make your anticipated "short life" even all the more joyous.

As long as you're not going to hurt anyone else. I'm not any type of zealout, as far as I know, and I think living life to its fullest is essential. But, I also try to make sure that I never become dependent on something, so that I can really be alive to live my life, you know? Of course, a glass or two or Porto wine sure seems to make everything seem rosier.

Agree with quality being more important than quantity, however, I think you should not be reckless with your body when you are rock climbing. If you fall, you might not die. You could end up paralyzed and immobile for the rest of your life. That would defeat the quality aspect. Rock on.

I've had three cats that died of cancer. When the prognosis is terminal and they're obviously suffering, I have them put down. I don't think people should be treated any different.

God gives us this life for testing us. If we pass the test by obeying God and not involving in committing sins, God ends our test and calls our soul back to Him sooner saveing us from the trials and triblulations of this life.

That short life is the best of all.

Go for quality every time.
Life's too short, to drink cheap wine.
And if you have offended any teetotalling religious zealot-
GOOD ONE!!
They're all miserable twonks, anyway.

Doesn't matter, The only question is have we been forgiven of our sins, Do you have Jesus Christ in your life, and have you received The Holy Spirit, If you have you will be convicted of your sins, and turn away, Repent from them. You will know Gods will, what is right and what is wrong.

I see no value in a life lived restricting oneself from adventure, experience, and growth. Unfortunately, that's what many religions preach and threaten -- have fun and you'll go to HELL! I think you've got it right. Enjoy!
