My camcorder won't play my tapes. There is sound but no pic. It's doing it to all my tapes so I suspect the problem is with my camera & not the tapes. It's those small tapes. Is there anything I can do? Can I somehow get them to dvd? I'm not too good when it comes to this type of problem so any help would be great. Thanks!

you must have an analog camcorder, because digital has audio and video on the same datastream. by "small" tapes, i assume you mean video8. you have a clogged video head and needs to be cleaned. If you have a brand new unused tape, try playing it for a couple of minutes, that might clear the debris off. otherwise it will take professional cleaning, or possibly it is damaged. Some DVD player/recorders have analog inputs, that would be the easiest way to make into DVD.
