no. the minute my mom told him she was pregnant with me, he took off and was never heard from again....that's ok, my grandparents were there and gave up their retirement years to raise me...now that mom and my grandparents are gone, i am a well-educated teacher with two sons i am raising on my own equally as well. they taught me how to take care of myself and my own. they are my heroes!

No.

I was adopted, and neither my birthfather nor my adoptive parents were there when I was born. Actually, my birthfather was in jail at the time... for stealing a car to go get my birthmother (I'm guessing for a shotgun wedding) after he found out she was pregnant.

According to my birthmother, she was allowed 15 minutes to see me before I was taken away.

This was of course before the time of open adoptions.

No. He's an autistic dysfunctional old b/a/s/t/a/r/d who shows no physical affection to anyone and never has. He kisses my Mom once on her cheek on her birthday, and that's it. Nothing more, ever. I wish I'd had a proper Dad.

He came in just as the docs were delivering me. The last part of me was coming out and he rushed in! My mom was so happy.
