I think I might have a virus. Is it normal for when you have a virus, for when you swallow your saliva, it makes you sick and you puke. Or if you a get a severe chill. Is that a virus?

You can still get the flu because the flu shot is what they think will be the worst strain of the flu that season. And you can still get other viruses. Sounds like you have something going on with your stomach if you're puking from swallowing your own spit. Just try your best to stay hydrated, and get plenty of rest, if you're not feeling better in 2 - 3 days go to your doctor.

It is possible to get the flu if the virus is different from what they put in the flue vaccine. It happened to me one year.
