For safe charging & long lasting battery the

Charger Current = Battery Capacity/10
Here 2500/10 = 250mA is ideal which takes 10 hours to charge.

If you have a 165 -180 mA it takes a few extra hours i.e,

2500/x = 180 mA

then charging time
x= 13.88 hours

Divide the 2500 mah by 180 ma and get:2500/180 = 14 hours.

The way of calculating this is the same for all charger and battery combinations.
Divide the total battery capacity by the output of the charger. In this case 2500/18 which is just under 14 hours.
