How is is strange, is it a sour, yeasty flavor, or is it a vinegar flavor?
10 days is nothing for a cider. Depending on your recipe, a good cider will take anywhere from 2 to 10 months. Wait for it to clear completely (can read a newspaper through the carboy), then rack to secondary. Let sit in secondary for a month or two, then rack into bulk aging for 3-6 months.
Bulk aging is neccessary for cider to allow for Malo-lactic fermentation to take place, this will result is a very fine, mellow, cider.

If it is still fermenting it will taste very yeasty. Wait until fermentation has ended and the sediment has settled out. Only then will you know how it tastes.

Strange, how? It could have bacterial contamination. To be safe, toss it, decontaminate, and start over.
