In Some cases it's hereditary....But others it's because Women drive them to rip it out of their heads....At least that's my Grampa's story....LOL

it can be hereditary, signs of alopecia, thyroid disease, hormone imbalance especially testosterone converting into dht or age. If your dad is not bald at the age 40 it means you will have your hair for longer periods of time but if get the diseases that I mentioned then you will lose some of them. But don't worry as long as you eat fish, meat, lots of fruits and vegetables it's unlikely and take a multi-vitamins they will help make your hair grow faster and healthier. Also avoid drinking alcohol and smoking they are poisons God I hope cigarettes disappear for all eternity lol.

As is widely said, bald men make the best lovers. This is because hair loss is linked with virility and a man only stops losing his hair when his testosterone levels drop. It is not possible to lose hair, other than for medical reasons, unless you have fairly high levels of testosterone!!

Yes, it's genetic. Passed from mother to son from the mother's side of the family.
There are other factors too. Generally speaking, people who cover their heads with headwear for extended periods of time will experience hair loss similar to those with genetic issues but it takes longer to occur. Also people who don't take care of their hair with proper hygiene can experience hair loss. Don't forget medical issues outside of genetic inheritance.

I think the latest theory has to do with their testosterone levels. Over 80% of all men regardless of race will experience some level of baldness in their lifetimes. The exceptions are men of American Indian and Eskimo (Aleutian) races - they rarely go bald and no one knows why.

Yes. From mother's side of family. Linekd to higher testosterine. In other words, if your mom's dad was bald, most likely you will follow that type of balding pattern.

I for one think it's hot.

Marriage and kids might have alot to do with it. Women lose hair too, cept they are better at hiding the loss.
