The bible genealogy starts with Adam and Eve and eventually go to Moses who goes to Abraham who goes to all the Jews and them to Jesus Christ.

Doesn't the belief in the myth of Evolution prove that Genealogy wrong?

I for one am a Christian that believe that God in fact did make Adam and Eve.

Why limit God with the thinking of a scientist? Isn't that worshiping idols???

Evolution is not a myth, it is a Theory.

Edit. To deadcat above: The "evidence" for evolution is nonexistent. As in, 'there is none.' Evolution is a theory, yet unproved. The moment one, single piece of "evidence" is found, the whole world will know. It will be the biggest headline of all time. As of today, the fossil record does not prove evolution, DNA does not prove evolution, ect. They merely "fit" the Theory. That does not make the Theory fact.

EDIT: Funny, all the evolutionists are giving me thumbs down (real professional for a disagreement), yet none of them can give me even one reference as to where I might find any "proof" of evolution.

Edit: To: Bulaia Aratyme above. Ken Miller is a sad case in sell outs. He wants to be a Christian, but he also wants the respect of fellow scientists. He does not have the backbone to stand up to them, so he joined them. The bible very clearly states God created man. Dr. Miller cannot believe the bible, and hence God, and also believe we evolved by a random process from a mud puddle, into apes, and into man. You can't have it both ways. He is trying. It is sad. Regarding his alleged "proof." Just because humans and apes have similarities, does not prove we are "cousins." Very poor science. Again, this is not proof, it is interesting. Not proof, but worthy of further study. Not proof of evolution, merely one tiny piece of data that fits the evolution model. It does not prove a thing. Dr. Miller knows that. But he is weak. At least an atheist will stand up and say, "There is no God." At least a theist will stand up and say, "There is a God." Dr. Miller says both, which is saying neither.

Well, that explains it - You are calling the writing of a Roman Governor your bible. For if you read the Scriptures you would find that creation is in ascending order. Woman as formed last and is on a higher spiritual level than man. Than both male and female were created as equal, having different but interlocking roles of equal importance. You would also find that the Creator told Abrahom to listen to Sarah that she was right. That Huldah, not Jeremiah her contemporary, nor the priests were asked if what was found was actually a lost Torah scroll. Devorah was a Judge and a General, that no woman worshiped or even gave a bit of her jewelry to the making of the golden calf.

One of the biggest problems for Christians who believe in evolution is death. If evolution is true then death must have entered the world before man existed and yet death is part of the curse. According to the Bible only when man sinned did death come into the world.

And evolution is not even a theory in scientific terms as it can't be tested and repeated. It is a model that some still cling to in spite of increasing evidence that it is completely untenable.

The introduction to Genesis and to the whole Bible ascribes everything to the living God, creating, making, acting, moving, and speaking. There is no room for evolution without a flat denial of Divine revelation. One must be true the other false. All of God’s works are good, great, wondrous, and perfect.

Man starts from nothing. He begins in helplessness, ignorance, and inexperience. All his works, therefore, proceed on the principle of evolution. This principle is only seen in human affairs: from the hut to the palace; from the canoe to the ocean liner; from the spade to the plowshare to machines. But the birds build their nests today as at the beginning. There is growth and development within man, but no passing, change, or evolution out from one into another.

For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be evident stages of evolution today. You would be able to find species in many stages of evolution in nature right now. For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be no God. And that’s exactly what evolutionists believe and are trying prove. The evolutionist bases his or her conclusions on human assumptions and reasoning, instead of on the documentary evidence of the manuscripts.

It all comes down to faith. Faith in the myth of Evolution and the non-existent but proported evidence or faith in the Bible.

The Eternal God or the Eternal matter.

Math & Logic disprove Evolution.

It is limiting God to believe that the only way He could create something is via the way you say He did. Genesis was not written as a play-by-play, it was written long after the fact, in answer to the basic human question 'where did we come from". It was written by a person/persons who believed that there was one God. Genesis says that we were created in God's image - is it not possible that God IS the Universe, and his image was the Big Bang? Why do you limit God to your human-based theories and ideas?

Anyone can say they are related to anyone but to really be genealogically correct you have to ~prove~ it. You need to have certificates - birth, death, marriage, baptismal - you need to have Wills and Probate records, tax records, land grants, Census. In other words, you have to create an extensive paper trail to create proof.

The genealogies in the bible, like a good deal of the rest of the book, are unsubstantiated and not supported by other documentation. Therefore, they are not genealogically correct.

Genealogy only stops with Adam. It doesn't prove anything other than people can trace their lineage to Adam.

TERRIFIC question, dear one! And for those who actually think man evolved from an ape, let me say this: Man was created in God's image. God's image is not that of an ape! And even though we're speaking of SPIRIT, since God isn't physical, God's SPIRIT is also not that of an ape. To think such is just plain ludicrous.

God bless!
