because women are the ones who developed the term 'lunk head' right? The basic gimmick behind an entire line of gyms is around the feeling that body builder guys are attention getting by grunting loudly as they work out. The feeling of those builders is that the guys who complain are merely jealous and less committed - very much like the the ways that slender and fat women speak of each other. And how about all the guys here calling any guy who gets the cute girls "jerks' and 'thugs'? So magazines may not engender the same reactions - but the female complaints DEFINITELY have their male counterpart.
