I'm 20 and have never dated. I'm increasingly ashamed and lonely about this? I feel more depressed each day.

I've always been shy and not the best looking. I've never asked a girl out because I assume she'd say no. And if she said yes, that'd be harder, I dont think I can keep a girl interested/happy/impressed for very long. I guess I'm a boring person. I think people make fun of me for this, so I avoid even talking about relationships with people.

How do I come to terms with this? I dont think I'll ever date. I feel so embarrased and ashamed I haven't already.

Whats wrong with me? I feel like I'm being judged all the time.

You are most likely right about being judged. People are pretty much as*holes in our society. All you have to do is break free of this and start being more open and social by any means necessary. When i was growing up, i was the shyest person in my grade and chicks never liked me and i always had low self-esteem. Now I more open and social and can start a conversation with random people and I feel more accepted. GOOD LUCK

honestly bro.....i suggest u go 2 the bar.....you'll be much more easy going and feel better about talking to women after a few drinks LOL and they'll have had some drinks too.....the bar scene is the easiest way 2 go...other than that i'd say try an internet dating site or something

I'm 19 and I've never dated either.

But it sounds to me like your self-esteem is completely shattered, and since women respond to confidence, you aren't going to get much attention.

Basically, if you want to date, you need to really think about what makes you a worthwhile date and what you have to offer, and get your self-esteem up, because when you don't love yourself, you can't love anybody.
