They are step siblings, not brother and sister. There is no reason for them to break up, however more than likely the relationship won't survive.

hahaha thats interesting, ive actually thought of this myself, and it happened to a friend of mine when we were in HS. her dad and her BFs dad met at one of her softball games and clicked, eventually they got together the thing was they (the parents) didnt know that their kids were going out at the time so they were oblivious to the fact that they totally just traumatized them, eventually my friends broke up (they werent going out for long anyways) and a year later their parents got married. They stayed really good friends and about a month ago (four yrs after their parents got married) they told their parents what happened, the mom was pretty wierded out about it and after explaining that they just started going out and were never intimate they just laughed about it.
Personally if that happened to me i would have a heartattack with my parent! I mean cmon! we were going out first! now your gonna force us to be steb bro and sis!! ew! lol, anyways, id break it off theres someting soo taboo about step bro and sis being together, it just doesnt feel right
