You can look through here for free puppies, there usually are some there , but the "flaggers" try to get the free adds removed for nothing, but you can still look through, and when you find some, write the contact information quickly.

typically free pups cost more in the long run - they still need vaccinations - deworming - they probably have fleas and since they havent seen a vet how do you know they are healthy?? what if you get a pup that has a heart defect and dies 3 months later or requires $500 surgery???

its cheaper to adopt from an SPCA or shelter than to take a free one and get the medical caught up on it.. PLUS they have guarantees..

youngest you can get a pup is 6 weeks - but 8 is better...

try your local paper or you can try hoobly.com
I do hope you realize gettign a free pup usually means the pup will have worms and need to see a vet immediately for the first set of vaccines then get the rest of the boosters until he's 3-4 months ( depends when you start and how the vet gives the shots) then will need the rabies vaccine at 4 months and should be fixed at 5-6 months. you also need to purchase alll the supplies ( best to get before you get teh pup)

only if they are abandned puppies should never be free or the owner does not care if they live or die and the same of the person that buys them but a shelters there are sometimes puppies that are cheap and need love and a home. but a puppy needs alot. puppy traning pad, a crate, blankets to go in the crate, lots of toys, a leash,a collar, dog food, treats and all of that adds up as well
