I kissed a girl that i didn't know well on april 2007. After we were done kissing i felt like i caught something a virus or something because my right eye i had a sharp pain also tinling feeling around my lips. After a week i had white patches on my throat went to dr. Dr said i have bad throat. He gave me antibotics i got better after a another week i begin to have shoulder aches and pain when i pee a burning pain. Went to dr. got medcine for burning pee. it got better after taking the medicine, But as of today dec i still have shoulder aches,when ever i move my arms around i feel cracking popping noise. but i don't have any pain. Red spots back of my throat. Light headache sometimes also tinling feeling all over the body sometimes that last only 2-4 seconds. Asked the unknown girl if she has any diease. She said no. But i am still scared because i don't feel like my self. What kind of other dieases can you catch if it is not a std. Because i felt it like i caught something.

Ok, first off you CAN get STD's from kissing. Ever heard of herpes?
If you had mono, the doctor would have confirmed that with a blood test, and would not have given you antibiotics, because Mononucleosis is a virus, and antibiotics don't work on viruses. the sharp pain probably wasn't related to the kissing if it happened right after the kiss. Viruses don't work that fast. You probably got a staph infection or strep throat from kissing her or possibly from some other person (doesn't have to be kissing). The shoulder is probably unrelated to the sore throat.

You are just allergic to kissing girls!! quit kissing them!!
Mono can be caught through kissing, but can also be caught from the air in crowds.
Flu viruses can be caught through kissing, but same can be caught from air in crowds.
And I think most high schools have "crowded" hallways??? You can catch most viruses just from being in the vicinity of other people!!

k if she was sick u can get what she had a flu cold anything and the disease that you can also get is mono which is the trading of like seliva pretty much you might want to check with ur doctor there is another disease you can catch but i forget what it's called but you can a shot for it and it;s more serious

you cant get a STD from kissing. you could get mono though, but your problems dont sound like mono

it could be mono...but i don't think the burning while you pee is associated with it at all
