No. Regretfully, some people brainwash their children from a very early age.

The innocence of children is delightful.

The parents who send their kids to Jesus Camp should be arrested for child abuse.

I believe it is the innocense of children that makes them delightful, because Jesus told us that the house of His Father was filled with such as these, so He told us to not touch the children for anyone who harms them will have to answer to His Father for it.

The education of spirituality to children is not difficult because they trust in what we tell them, they cannot understand up to a certain age why you would tell them something that isn't true. Parents fall into the trap of teaching their child not to lie and then lie to their child about the tooth fairy, the easter bunny and of course santa.

It is ok to play these games with children but they are smart enough to know that it is a game and not true like a cartoon. But parents are the ones that have the most fun because they play the game for real and try to hold on to the lie as long as they can make their child believe it is true until the child comes to the realization on his own and continues to pretend for the parent's sake.

I have spoken to many parents about this and they always justify the lies by saying it is all in good fun, but when the child finds out the truth, the parents lose credibility in the eyes of the child, so it is important for them to know as soon as they are old enough to understand what the meaning of the hollidays are rather than telling them trumped up stories of rabbits and men dressed in red, as they get older you can go into more detail, children are bright and like sponges so prepare yourself for questions, that may be tricky to answer, like, if santa live in the North Pole why do all the toys say "Made in Japan or China" just a thought, we played the games but my kids knew it was make believe. I did tell them of how Santa became so popular that there was this man who really existed a long time ago who would bring gifts to children and humanity has kept the tradition, and somehow this stole from the true reason we celebrate Christmas but there is no mention in the Bible of celebrating Christ's birthday and Jesus was not born on this day. It is a man made Holliday most of them are. It is not Holy in the eyes of God.

The only way to be delightful to God is to give to the hungry the poor the needy, the sick like Jesus did when He walked this earth. Peace

Children are full of faith; anyone who has children can tell you that. A young child will believe anything you tell them. I believe we are all born full of faith, but this evil world cause us to lose our faith. Why do you think Jesus said in Matthew 18:3 “Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

That means we must have a childlike faith in Him, being full of faith just as children are full of faith. That is how we become pure in heart.

Why are children who are raised with no mention of God just as delightful?

I think it has more to do with the innocence of children more than a belief/faith.

I find the total lack of any religious faith in a child is what makes children delightful.

I think what make children delightful is "discovery"
Man the face of a child when they first learn to roll over, to crawl, to walk is awesome.
I think it is awesome because as humans we want to excel and explore.

The way a child will bring a toy or other item to their father during playtime and say, here keep this. How many times have they totally forgotten about that item, because they gave it to their father and knew he would keep it safe, so they didn't worry about it further; that's what we need to do with God. We need to bring our care and worries to him, and although we still have to deal with them in this life, say here, I'm bringing this t You, please look after this for me, and then have the confidence that He doing just that.

How many times have you knelt in prayer, bringing a problem before God, and gotten up and picked the problem up and still carried it around with you, instead of leaving it there for God?

I think the most delightful thing about children is their joy of learning, which is stifled as soon as religion is introduced.

God said: let us make "man"(not child): Genesis 1
A "man" puts away "child"-ish things: 1Cor 13?
Blessed the "man": Psalms 32:1,2; Rom 4:7,8?

Child-ren get tossed to & fro by winds(spirits)?
Devils(Children) believe: James 2:19?
Forgive them, for they "know not"?

The 'ignorance' of "know not" children like you
is what makes them, of them/us as annoying as hell:
"all vanity and VEXATION of Spirit" x 7: Ecclesiastes.

Sister, PLS grow up, and "grow in grace"(2Peter 3:18)
