I'm an atheist, have examined the possibility of a God from many angles, and have concluded that none exists. However, if there actually is a God, contrary to my beliefs and when the day of judgement arrives, he decides - despite the fact that I have lived in a moral, honest way, but didn't believe in him - that I'm still not going to heaven, then that is definitely a place where I don't want to be. Also if I am rejected from heaven, what are my other options?

Friend, I cannot say that you are not going to Heaven or going to hell, i am a Christian and I may go against some people but I cannot determine your place in eternity. you say you have examined, now is this with your mind alone or you heart and your mind? i am not trying to make you believe please do not receive this inanother way, i am stating that i believe it is awesome that you have taken a belief and decided to review it for yourself. To answer your question there is a Hell, but we are a Free Will people. God will not force Himself on you, he gives us choices, even if people have bombarded you with their beliefs. will you go to Hell? I cannot say, I am a person, and I am glad you live a well life, I personally feel that being without God is a place i don't want to be. Good Luck and Love To You regardless of differences.

Hell is described as a bottomless pit (Luke 8:31, Revelation 9:1), and a lake of fire, burning with sulfur, where the inhabitants will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Revelation 20:10). In hell, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, indicating intense grief and anger (Matthew 13:42). It is a place “where the worm never dies and the fire never goes out” (Mark 9:48). God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires them to turn from their wicked ways so that they can live (Ezekiel 33:11). But He will not force us into submission; if we choose to reject Him, He has little choice but to give us what we want – to live apart from Him.

To go in Heaven is not in human power. Only God can put us in Heaven. But to be in God hands you need to do good thinks. If you aren`t a true beliver you will be judged in your opinion. And your good fact and bad facts will be some how quantified. I hope that after that in any case to have mercy from Jesus Christ.

The Judgment it will be like a pray. Not long not short. But peoples will be separate in two packs. One that will be lightfull and another darker.

So try to help people. Doesn`t mater how not sinful you are. Does mater how good you done. How many poor people you help. How many old man you visit. How many sad mad you talk and encurage. How many ill man you visit. etc

Kyrie Eleison.

If you are elected as one of the anointed ones who are privileged to go to Heaven, then you will be Priest and Judge for 1000 years over those living on Earth after the War of Armageddon. If you reject this assignment, this would be a sin against the Holy Spirit and you will be destroyed to non-existence and forever forgotten.

You are well on your way to understanding the real God.

You are talking about the made up judgmental punishing christian God but you're are thinking with the logic of the real unconditionally loving God.

If you don't believe in God you don't have to worry about going to heaven. God wants no one in his Kingdom that don't Love him. But God still loves you and is hoping you will one day change you mind about him.

"other options"? Only one.

"is there any point in going to heaven"? As one who puts his faith and trust in the love and mercy of the one true God, I certainly believe YES.
