The Aramaic Bible mentions "Muhammad" as the next Prophet of GOD Almighty

I was getting shock when I read that "Paraklytos" is actually "Muhammad" in Aramaic - the mother tongue' of Prophet Jesus (p.b.u.h).

Follow me as we trace the Biblical history of this Greek word "Paraclete". Startling as it may seem, at one time the word read "Periklytos" and "Paraklytos", which is the name for "Muhammad" in Greek. Surprising? It should not be because both words mean "Praised" or "Celebrate," the meaning and character of the man "Muhammad." (1 Jesus in The Qur'an, One World Publications, (c) Geoffrey Parrinder 1965, 1995, ISBN 1-85168-094-2. Knowing this, there is a need for us to study the life of Prophet Muhammad in depth to see if it all stands up. Surprisingly it does.

According to Holy Qur'an the name of prophet Muhammad or Ahmad (p.b.u.h) is mention by name in the Gospel (Injeel):

"And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is Ahmad (the Praised One)." (Qur'an 61:6)

If you refer to Song of Solomon in Hebrew scripture, the name 'Muhammad' also mention there, please read Song of Solomon 5:16, it looks like this:

"Hikow mamtaqiym wkulow mahamadiym (MAHAMADIYM=Mohammed) zeh dowdiy wzeh ree`iy bnowt yruushaalaaim."

First: There is no Aramaic Bible: OT is mostly in Hebrew, with bits in Aramaic. NT is in Greek.

Now I am not excluding the possibility that there are Aramaic translations.

Second: Paraclete means praised? Maybe. But it is a non-sequitur that NT refers to the prophet Mohammad.

Third: It is fairly clear to me that Song of Solomon 5:16 does not refer to Mohammad. Not being a Hebrew scholar I cannot tell even if the a word cognate to mohammad appears there.

Fourth: I will pass on embracing Islam.

Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) had chosen this name for precisely the reasons you mentioned. Some modern day TV evangelist, following Muhammad's (p,b,u,h.) lead claim that they are indeed the promised "paraklytos". Take heart. Stay with Islam and be sure to be saved!

As salaamu 'alaikym, my misinformed buddy. Insha'Allah, i think your purpose are the excellent notwithstanding, your study of historic previous and of the scriptures of Christianity is sorely lacking. First, you say that the Prophet Muhammad (sallaahu 'alaihi wasallaam) is suggested in the Gospels/injels after which you provide a quotation from the Holy Qur'an. This isn't clever, is illogical and defeats any factor you attempt to make. in the canonical Gospels besides as gnostic gosples which could be accurtely ascertained an age or time of writting that could desire to real place them in a historic time line the place they may be considered actual and that have met different standards as a manner to be stumbled on verifiable and solid, the call of the Prophet (observed) isn't suggested. neither is the call of Muhammad (observed) suggested in the Torah, the Psalms or the prophetic writings of the Jews. The meant "Gospel of Barnabus" is extremely questionable and isn't any longer conventional my maximum if no longer all of todays biblical scholars. The "Aramaic gospel" is in a matching vogue theory-approximately. the two regarded nicely after the 1st millennium of the hassle-unfastened era became into carried out, neither have been carbon dated to in the previous that factor, and, at superb, they are copies of copies of copies. Insha'Allah, as Muslims, we've been given the only e book of Diviine revelations that is authenticated, that has been preserved intact, without enhancing, additions or corruption from its delivery until the well-liked-day. Insha'Allah, furhter, in the Holy Qur'an we've been warned back and back to no longer make up or pass alongside "lies" that we characteristic to Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala. Why are you no longer fairly grateful for that which we've won and why do you stumble on it necessary to make up lies approximately Allah (swt) instead of based on the reality as we've already won it? Hasbuk'Allah! Insha'Allah, please end doing this as you defame Islam, distort the reality and are making and passing alongside untrths (i.e., lies) approximately Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala. whilst one behaves in considered one of those way, they exhibit to the international that they lack faith as they could desire to have extra beneficial than they have been given as a manner to have self assurance. Habuk'Allah. Please, end it, purely end it! Ma'a salaam.
