An atheist does not believe in any higher power, but not neccessarily be against religion. Someone can be against organized religion and still believe in a higher power or spirituality.

They're both very different things. An atheist denies the existance of a higher being(s). Someone who is anti-religious is against religions. You can be both though, I am.

Someone who is AGAINST religion is an Anti-Theist.
Someone who simply does not believe in any deity, therefore refusing to practice a religion is an Atheist.
I am the latter. And the definitition is the same for everyone.
