Ashtol took the words right out of my mouth.
Keep in mind, however, that a lot of places really prefer to have prepackaged things, just because of the state of the world today-not knowing one person from the next and how good their intentions are.
YOU COULD maybe volunteer in a local kitchen for the homeless/needy...

Well, it's not a charity, but how about the US military? It would certainly be appreciated by our troops!
I think charities like the Hunger Task Force and Salvation Army only accept non-perishable, but I'm not positive. Good luck and God Bless for your spirit of giving!

Oh how wonderful and thoughtful of you!
Check with local churches and shelters to see if you can help out. Some places may be hesitant about personal baked goods -- unfortunately due to some people that think it is funny to sabotage food.
You are a nice person to consider doing this!
Have wonderful holidays.

Their faces just llight up when they are given something that tells them that you maybe get doctors care but other ppl care to. You will get that warm gooy felling when you do and i am not sure food dives tkae pperishable items or food pantries
