Okay, so apparently my dad stole MY money, from MY room, without even saying anything. Then a few days later he told me. I'm SO mad! He went in my room without asking. He went in search of money, looking through my things. He took like 10 dollars in quarters. Now my piggy is almost empty... What should I do? I'm really freaking pissed!

Wow..
Okay, so I can understand you being mad about this.. I probably would be a little ticked too. But, he's your dad. You're living in his house and.. he's paying all the bills and all that good junk. Sorry, I'm sure you've heard it before but.. get over it

The bottom line to this is telling the truth. Your step father seems to have problems telling the truth so you will have to do it for him. Tell your mom what is really going on. She deserves to know the truth about your step father. He has no right to take money from you. And he has no right to steal money from your mother. If this man is capable of doing this and thinks he can get away with it then this is so wrong. And what make matter worst is now he wants you to lie to your mom like he's lying to her. Don't let this man come between you and your mom. You mom deserves better then that. And be prepared when you tell your mom because she will hit the roof. But don’t let that get to you because you are not the one who created this problem. It was your step-dad

I had an uncle do that when I was 8. He took 5 dollars out of my change jar and stuffed doll clothes in the bottom and put some coins over the top to make it look full.

I hid my $20 in the Bible. LOL He never found it.

First of all ask him why he took the money with out your permission and why he needed it? Then tell him that if he needs any money at all, next time ask no matter what.

Don't get your shorts in a bunch. Tell him you consider it a loan and payback can come at any time now.
