I can't think of anything more horrible! I don't know what I'd do if I were allergic to chocolate!! haha...
But yes, it sounds like you might have what you call a "progressive" food allergy. This can happen when you are repeatedly exposed to something you are just mildly allergic to.. it builds up over time. You need to see an allergist about this! It is very possible to be allergic to chocolate..

It is very possible to develop allergies when you didn't have one before. If you continue to eat the chocolate yes it could cause stronger reactions every time you eat it. Don't know the term for it, but progressive allergy does sound like it fits.

it's possible that you are becoming allergic to chocolate... allergies can change over time... i suggest drinking some coffee, tea, or soda to see if you might be allergic to caffeine or perhaps drink a cup of hot cocoa, this can help determine what in the chocolate you're allergic to... maybe you got bad chocolate, try a better quality chocolate
oh! also try white chocolate, if you have problems with that, you'll have to commit seppuku

It does sound like you have become allergic to chocolate. Substitute carob instead. It tastes like chocolate with brown sugar in it.
