i like this browser, but every few weeks, when i first get on , all my add ons are not being used,,, my homepage is gone, it goes back to the getting started page that you see when you first download firefox and it gives all the same questions about entering encrypted pages that i've already answered ...its like i just dowloaded the thing... which i did 2 month's ago...my add ons are still there it just is not using them when i go on line and its not every time... its just every few weeks it does this ...anybody else have this problem ?

this happened because your firefox is getting updated!
It s nothing wrong with it!

This is what happens when Firefox updates itself. If you look carefully, you should see 2 tabs, the visible one is telling you it updated, just close the tab to see your home page. This is normal.
Not all Add-ons are compatible with the latest updates, but often get updated shortly after release of a new version of Firefox. Try to reload them in a few weeks.

Ditto ELfaGeek, above, and make sure an update of Firefox didn't by mistake didn't somehow (by mistake) wallop what you have set as your "home" page. And it even pays, now and then, to go up to Tools--> Addons--> Find Updates to see if anything's been updated in awhile, just in case! (And Get Extensions in case a new neat one's come out that you like, in case you have time to surf!)

Yeah. That used to happen to me. I just switched back to IE. I like Mozilla Firefox, too, but Internet Explorer is also more secure....
