No. Loving them and God is the most important thing, per Jesus's command to us.

It's sad, but I see lots of people who seem to be more interested in proselytizing than in loving people. I once met a Baptist man who said that Jesus's command "Love one another as I have loved you" was "only for the brethren"!! In other words, he didn't believe he had to love any body who wasn't in his church and "saved."

No, the most important thing a Christian can do is introduce people the THE church as taught in the New Testament. Ephesians 4:3 "Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. 5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all." Jesus is the head, therefore the Bible is the only authority to rule over the church that is led at each congregation by it's own elders/shepherds.

You cannot separate Jesus from the church since the church is His body. All spiritual gifts are given to us through His body.

No, convincing others to come to church is not the most important thing Christians do. However,

"Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)

^ ^ ^ And this verse is fulfilled by going to church or uniting with other Christians.

The MOST important thing Christians are called to do is "LOVE".. God and others...

Be blessed. May God's love and peace surround you.

Nope. Church isn't even a requirement for Christians. It came about in the Middle Ages because the Bible was in Latin and the normal people couldn't read it.

I would say love of God and your fellow man are what Christianity *should* stand for, and should be considered the most important things one can do.

The most important thing you can do as a Christian is to live your life like one. Otherwise to convince people to come to your church without truly being one is to crucify Christ one more time.

No it is not. Accepting Gods name is the most important. Along with acknowledging his purpose for people and what he requires of us. Attending "church" is a command in which the Apostles told the new congregations. Since it is a place of both spiritual and physical encouragement, If a christian does not attend it is an act of not appreciating Jesus arrangement for his followers.

I grew up in the Episcopal church purely approximately 8-15 years in the previous. they have been for sure Christian because of the reality that their ideals have been commonplace around Jesus and additionally they suspect he's the savior and how you could salvation. so some distance as i understand, they nevertheless experience that now besides. they are acknowledged a much better liberal denomination, fairly in purely the previous few years, on condition that they no longer too previously began allowing homosexuals to finally finally end up monks and bishops. positively the very conservative Christians disagree with this and could circulate as some distance to declare they do no longer look to be actual Christians.

No, my church has nothing to do with it. The most important thing for me as a Christian is to show love and encouragement. I want to show Christ's love to people. He loved them enough to die for them. It is important for me to tell people that. Not about my church.

If they don't know Christ, how will my church help them in any way? It would be putting the cart before the horse.

No . What is more important is to convince them to go to any church or at least take up reading the Bible, and to believe and to pray.
Lets say they don't like someone that is all ready going to that church; then get them to another one.
I can't drive myself, so I can't even get to one. I read my bible every day, study the bible, and look for TV shows that come from churches.

No, convincing them that God is the reason to come to church, what is it you will do to convince them? as humans we are somewhat narrow and need proof in some ways to believe why we should do something. God wants us to help one another, and be kind to one another,, The Christian thing to do is to treat one another as God intended us to , through display of care and concern, assistance in time of need for all the right reasons,, Peace
