I need to go out but my system is current being backed up and the software says there is about 2 hours left. I don't want to leave the pc because after the back up it will still be on and I won't be back at my house for another 2 days.

Is there a software that I can download to basically set a specific pc shutdown time ...e.g. I can set it to shutdown my pc 4 hours from now. So that after the backup has finished the pc will shutdown without me having to do it manually.

Help is appreciated.

For auto start of your pc go bootup into bios setting and scroll to power management in here Enable RTC and then set the day/month, and time u want ur pc to start (note: for everyday set value to 0 ) and exit saving ur settings.
This will only work on ATX power supply.

For Auto shutdown, Download shut off (free software) at www.downloads.com (type in "shut off" in search) install this.
Here u can set the day (everyday) and time u want to shut off the pc.

Once u set both the pc will start and auto shutdown at desired times.
