I just installed Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition and for some reason it's asking me for a username and password, but I have yet to even set one up.
I can't leave them blank and admin (U-name) admin (pass) doesn't work. neither does admin w/ a blank password. Any ideas or solutions?

after I enter the wrong information I get the following pop up:

"Logon Message

The system cannot log you on due to the following error:

The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Please try again or consult your system administrator"

There is no space for anything but the username and pass, even when I click Options there's only those 2 spaces.

during the installation I was NEVER asked for any information, I didn't have to click a single thing, it did everything by itself.

When you install 2003 it will require you to set an administrator password. No way around it so you did set one.
The username is "administrator" and the password is the one you entered during the setup! Don't try "admin" it won't work use "adminsitrator".

u can crack it.
do a repair reinstall of windows server..
Phase 1 of installation is file copy phase on blue screen. then system restarts and u go to GUI phase 2 where u see 39 Minutes remaining ..

on that screen, press SHIFT + F10. a black window will open. on the command prompt window, type in USER CONTROL2.
this will open the user account window from where u can reset or create new user name ...

search google for the same if u need more clarification ..
if this doesnt work, last resort is reinstallation ..
