No. We are way past the days when a thumbs down could get a theist fed to the lions.;)

some human beings comprehend a thank you to spell and the thank you to variety. no longer each physique has to apply spell examine. some human beings do care approximately how the language/phrases they use is/are provided. whilst human beings use abbreviations, they assume that each physique knows of them which isn't continually genuine. considering between the needs of this website is to sell verbal substitute and communicate it helps if each physique is speaking/making use of a similar language. As to the thumbs down, i assume this selection replaced into placed here for the very purpose that it is used for. some each physique is a splash thumb chuffed, yet hi, if that's what they prefer to realize this be it. some solutions are rude and obnoxious and earn a thumbs down besides as deserving a thumbs down. All of it is subjective, in accordance with critiques and perspectives, yet you have have been given to confess it is exciting and relaxing.

No I don't think so, i do it to people who post"complete text of a creationist website" too so they learn not to do it any more and I also do it to Atheists when they make bad, mean, rude, ect. comments about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirt. They shouldn't be on this section any ways its called Religion & Spirituality for a reason. Any less they want to learn ect. But it is sad to say that most of them seem to sit and wait to prey on innocent people and make hurt ful comments. So yea, if its an honest opion I don't be if its offensive.
Good luck! :)

It is appropriate to thumbs down any bad answer. That's the whole point of the system. People who copy and paste thousand-word essays NEED those thumbs down. It lets them know that people aren't reading it and encourages them to find a better way to say what they have to say.

I wouldn't call that thumbing-down theists. That's more like thumbing down annoying responses and, no, I don't think it's wrong. I think that's part of the reason the thumbs-down option was put into use.
Dumb answer = thumbs down. What's wrong with that.?

I do the same thing. Not that I have anything against theists, they're entitled to their own opinion just like everyone else. But that IS the catch - I want to see their opinion, not ''copy&paste.'' Why not just post the link to back up their stance?

I do not think so. I do the same thing.
That is about the only reason I use the thumbs down.
