Okay I know that muscle is important but at this point in time I dont want to look muscular I want a more girly body. Like non muscular thighs and legs and arms. I know this might not be healthy but I heard the only proven way to lose muscle and is a fast diet. Cuz your body "eats" up all the muscle and desposes of it.

I remember reading somewhere that muscle mass is lost at a rate of 10% per year if you don't exercise - and that it's a myth that it turns to fat - people just forget to eat less, so put on fat-weight...

So simply not exercising should do it, slowly. I don't think you can speed it up unless you're prepared (and able) to put a layer of fat over it?

I think gymnasts look fabulous, male and female, so I can't imagine why you want to change it radically!

VERY VERY BAD IDEA. A healthy body consists of good muscle tissue and grants you the gift of the ability to choose and keep a great attitude in all that you do.

Get better friends who give you nurturing and support as you are. Pick up books at the library that teach you strong assertion skills- practice them and fail alot so that you can learn to succeed alot.

Then teach the people around you by standing tall and being as strong as you can. That is what future dreams are built on...and your example will have many following your identity instead of those who will have trouble walking in their 80s or 90s because the strength is just not there... lead 'em 13!

You're out of your mind.

You think you want to look like all the other little teenage twigs, then 10 years from now you'll be whining about being weak and flabby, and asking us how to get your muscle back.

Speaking with the experience that comes from being 4 times your age: Keep the muscle, or at least as much of it as you can.

Technically, you can't lose muscle. It's permanent. However, by eating poorly and not exercising (generally taking poor care of your physical body), it will get weak and of poor quality. However, I don't know why you would want to do that to yourself, especially at such a young age. Now that my daughter is older and can be left home for longer periods of time, I'm itching to get back into the gym. I already eat whole, real foods, but it's the movement I'm missing.

You don't want to lose muscle. Look into stretching , pilates and yoga. Talk with a trainer. They can transform the way your muscle looks without you losing strength, and fitness. Plus you are only 13, you have time to grow and mature.

As I understand you are a ex-ginnasta to lose all kilos first:
You do not have to go to the gym at least 3-4 years
No need to do the things you did when you were a gymnast and .................. lose all muscles

Stop exercising for a few years. If you don't use it, you lose it, so they say. This means your strength will go down, but so will the muscle mass.

what you need to do is just do excerises to tone your body so that the muscle slowly decreases and you don't put fat on in it's place.
Remember muscle turns to fat so you must start these toning excercises you will not put on any muscle as the excersises are a lot gentler.
