I'd say more agnostic. Agnostics, in general, have the outlook of "I don't know if there's a God or not / I don't care if there's a God a not".

That's how I would characterize Evel Knievel's pre-conversion attitude.

All that whiskey suggests he was not a regular church goer. That being said, I hope God has a big jump ramp for him in heaven.
