I actually hear the odd thing about my first love only because I have a friend who I see once in a while who is still friends with his family and I sometimes get little updates on what his life is now like.

No, and I'd be really intrigued to know what he's going.
I went out with someone for 4 years between the ages of 18 and 22. He finished with me on Christmas Eve, just as we were about to buy a flat together.
It still really hurts me, 10 years later (even though I'm about to get married and am very happy!). I would love to know what happened to him, he was such a big part of my life.

since we have a common friend sometimes i get news about him.You know what? I just don't get it but although I'm over him i want to hear news about his life and I'm happy if he is.i guess if you had a good thing the best of the memories remain and he/she is always special.

his sister is my best mate so yep i still see him, and he tells me im the one even though he is engaged!!
