Good Muslims please come forward?

I firmly believe the vast majority of Muslims are good people.
You must come forward and speak out against the evil segment of your religion.
The recent event in the Sudan a case in point.
Many have and continue to resent your religion because of these acts and the lack of public condemnation of the evil ones.

I have no problem with good people, no matter their religion. I mean no personal insult when I say the following:
Do Muslims condemn pedophilia?
Mohammed married a 6-year old girl. Her name was Aisha.
There are many inconsistencies, contradictions and scientifically provable mistakes in the quran as well as historical ones.
I have many reliable sources to prove this besides the bible and the quran themselves.

I have been studying many different religions for over 20 years, by the way. Double- and triple- checking each in their original languages.
Am I a christian? I left christianity at the age of 14. After many years of study, I was forced to conclude I was wrong to do so. So, yes, I have gone back to Christ.

I don't believe in religion. Who gives anybody the right to brainwash other people? It's all voodoo & look wotz happening in the world now & in the past because of it !!! I don't need any preacher of any religion to tell me what I should or should'nt believe in. When we're adults & can make a dicision for ourselves,that's one thing. But to pump religion into the minds of innocent children is Brainwashing at it's best. I'm an extremely good person & don't hate anyone. I believe there's something out there but I don't put a name to it.

What! "Evil segment of your religion" We dont have any evil segment in our religion. This women insulted our prophet. She might not intended to do so. Whatever, she did big thing, we cant accept such actions in our countries. This man "Prophet mohammed" in the greatest person for us. We dont allow anybody in our countries to insult him or even talks about him badly.

Even though the regime in Sudan is retarded and think he is applying sharia, i thought he would be stupid in judging this woman. But actually thier judgment was reasonable. All what she got 15 days in jail and leaving the country.

Whatever their faith are, they are all the same. Human beings. Some are good and some are bad. That's what make the world a fun place to live. Without the bad guys, the good guys wont know that they are good, because they have nothing to compare themselves with.

That seems to be the problem. You idolize him, even when his message was to have no pictures of him. You are doing exactly what he did not want.

I think I am good muslim..read this
Before Jumping to any conclusion. Keep these points in mind.
1. unlike christians muslims do not consider pets(animals) same as children. In general they don't name their pets with muslim name, mostly they name their pets with christian names like, Tony, Tom etc.
2. From Islamic point of view animals are inferion being compare to human being.
3. Muslims have extremely high regard for all prophets and specifically Prophet Mohammed.
4. In bible all the great personalities are associated with worst kind of sins. King David PBUH committing adultery, King Solomon worshipping idols, Lot commiting incest with his daughters, Juda commiting incest with his daughter-in-Law. We muslim take strong exception is such defamation of characters and believe that these are fabrication to corrupt the image great personalities.
I personally do not consider it as an act of blasphemy, she probably did no know how muslims percieve this act. However, there is something called constitution in Sudan and she violated the constitution while being in Sudan. It was her responsibility to know about Islamic sentiment while being in Sudan. I think she is punished only for carelessness, otherwise punishment of blasphemy is death.

People in different regions and religions have different way of seeing and percieving the things, you have no right to believe that wicked western civilization, purely based on uncontrolled freedom and hedonism is ideal for mankind.

I like to believe I am a good Muslim. Sadly what you see in the media is culture and not true Islam. I am Muslim by choice and trust me, if Islam is what the media claims it to be, I would NEVER have converted.
