Before Jumping to any conclusion. Keep these points in mind.
1. unlike christians muslims do not consider pets(animals) same as children. In general they don't name their pets with muslim name, mostly they name their pets with wetern names like, Tony, Tom etc.
2. From Islamic point of view animals are inferion being compare to human being.
3. Muslims have extremely high regard for all the prophets and specifically Prophet Mohammed.
4. In bible all the great personalities are associated with worst kind of sins. King David PBUH committing adultery, King Solomon PBUH worshipping idols, Lot PBUH commiting incest with his daughters, Juda commiting incest with his daughter-in-Law. We muslim take strong exception to such defamation of characters and believe that these are fabrications to corrupt the image of great personalities.
I personally do not consider it as an act of blasphemy, she probably did not know how muslims would percieve this act. However, there is something called constitution in Sudan and she violated the constitution while being in Sudan. It was her responsibility to know about Islamic sentiment while being in Sudan. I think she is punished only for carelessness, otherwise punishment of blasphemy is death.
People in different regions and religions have different way of seeing and percieving the things, you have no right to believe that wicked western civilization, purely based on uncontrolled freedom and hedonism is ideal for mankind..

First it is a sin in Islam to make an image of anything second it is considered an insult to name an image after "the great prophet". I have yet to figure out why they allowed the teddy bear at all.

The clerics preached that it was an insult to Islamic belief, Mohammad, inciting the people to act.
The more I hear, the more I think these people only believe what they have been told, and do not think things through for themselves. Some Christians get that way also- these are they that get fleeced by the hucksters on television.

That will make you think twice about going to a country and not knowing all the rules, beliefs and religions.
No different than going to New Mexico and knowing their laws,or China or Aruba.
You must read and learn all you can before entering a country as such. No matter what YOUR belief is, we all are different.

i do no longer appreciate listening to cursing or grimy jokes and that i the two show my distaste or I walk away or i think of approximately different issues than what the guy is talking approximately. As to somebody smoking a cigarette or eating alcohol, it is between them and God and does not result me. As to "conceited gown" i do no longer think of it is suited on the church yet what approximately ladies who placed on bikinis on the coastline. it is as much as me to administration my thoughts approximately what I see and because for the duration of this society it isn't any longer considered to be immodes, purely like in some African or South American international locations ladies circulate around topless, it is not for me to choose them yet purely to examine myself and my thoughts.

Muslims are so ashamed of their dysfunctional culture that anything will drive them into a homicidal rage. ANYTHING. I mean, a friggin' teddy bear. A TEDDY BEAR. Sheesh.
When will people wake up? We don't need them exporting their poisonous religion here.
