So... I am a fiery passionate ranty lil man sometimes. Things easily get me righteous indignation all fired up and I just ... go.
The downside to this is that I at times do not think a thing all the way thru nor do I attempt to see both sides of an issue. Luckily for me I have a friend named Ibrahim that is more than happy to kick my soapbox out from under me and force me to look at a thing from the other side in a more rational logical fasion. Me and Ibrahim do not always see eye to eye but... I feel blessed to have him abot never the less.

I don't have an Ibrahim, but he sounds like a great, wise friend. I tend to think most times before I go off, but I have been known to rant. If I'm out of line, I usually know it sooner or later and later on I make amends, if possible.

Insha'Allah, we do not always see eye to eye although at times we do.
I appreciate the fact that you, many times, do try to look to find what is actually hapening as opposed to simply going "off".
I also appreciate those time when your humor is truly witty, pointing out our human failings in ways and manners that are no abusive or insulting.
Insha'Allah, if it is any consulation, I continually "kick the soap box "out from under myself constantly. Sadly, it is all too easy for any person to become a bit "holier than thou" and very judgmental in ways that are helpful to none. I, too have been guiltly of doing the same.
