My husband says "Ghost Whisperer" is too girly, but I love the feelgood factor when Jennifer Love-Hewitt helps ghosts make their peace and go towards the light.

I think he prefers "Tru Calling", because it stars Eliza Dushku, the real star of Buffy. There's more action, and she certainly has an interesting name!

I know I've mastered the ability to walk, talk and read. There's nothing much left to learn in these fields, and I can do it all with complete ease. Doesn't mean I never stub my toe, slur a few words, or stumble on a sentence now and then, but I've reached a point where it's completely causal. I'm not an olympic sprinter, or a public speaker, or a speed reader -- those are all entirely separate skills -- but what I learned is plenty to get through life. I never forget that the martial arts are called an art, whether or not that's an Eastern interpretation, but in the West this does have a purpose. An art couldn't be something you perfect. Music, painting and sculpting all have near limitless potential, but stages of development that you would have to "master" to get better. A black belt, as we've explained before on here, is about having a firm understanding of the fundamentals, or "All basic movements and techniques, can be applied with extended force and proper application in basic combination." The key words here would be "all basic movements and techniques" and "extended force and proper application". I would say there is a mastery of having LEARNED the requirements and KNOW how to put them to use, just not anything further from the basics. I think people go a little too far with the word, using it mostly erroneously, but the intent of comfortably and casually using what you've learned is what they're all implying. As for the martial arts as a whole, that I believe is impossible, especially as an art.

Well I've got all of tru calling and only seen a few of ghost whisper, I like both tru calling is a bit repetitive in its storylines but it is still interesting and isn't boring, even though the longest day episode is v annoying lol I think that tru calling is better. Also you can get tru calling for like £20 even though it was cancelled during its second season its still worth getting, I may get ghost whisper when i can afford it, after getting angel and heroes that is! I would vote tru calling from what I've seen of ghost whisperer.

Yep Tru Calling was the better series. It's more like Buffy or Angel & i loved those 2 shows & Faith~ Eliza Dushku ~ was in both.
GW is a bit too bland & predictable for my liking tbh.

Ghost Whisperer is slightly repetative, she always helps, whereas in Tru Calling the writers are not afraid to let Tru fail once in a while to 'learn a valuable lesson'. My personal favourite out of the two is Tru Calling, as JLH gets a little annoying with her happy-perky routine!

I like Ghost Whisperer because Jennifer Love Hewitt has to carry out errands for the ghosts. It's like:

JLH: "Why are you haunting this place? What do you want?"
Ghost: "Go to the shops and get me some pipe tobacco and today's paper".
JLH: "OK. Back in a jiffy".

I prefer Ghost whisperer because not only does it seem scary but at the end it has a feel good feeling to it.

I hate them both because they promote the belief in "ghosts" and as we all know in the 21st century that "ghosts" just don't exist, they never have and never will, only an absolute idiot could or would believe in "ghosts".

Therefore they are both silly, silly programs that only serve to dumb down the viewer by filling their heads with untruth. Think how stupid it is... with 6 billion people on the planet now try to imagine how many people have lived since the first people evolved, the afterlife would be really crowded with all those "ghosts"... I don't think so. Life is like a lit match, it burns for a while then it goes out, it does not go to another place, nor will any of us, we live, we die end of story...
