I think people take advantage of society's ignorance. For we don't have proof beyond a doubt of our creation, our existence, nor have logical meaning to our everyday life. I feel it is time, we stop living in the deluded fantasy world our past ancestors have lived under. The time for change is now. Seek the truth, see what I see. Judge not the beliefs of others, but the logic behind their actions. Something doesn't add up, and it's about time we find out why. Will you join me, on this quest for the answer to answer all our questions?

My dear child, wiser people down the ages have asked the same question. The answer is simple. God is as true as you see him. If they haven't found the proof to back their beliefs, do you really thing you will find proof to NOT believe in what has been handed down .

Nothing adds up as you say, how do you know? There is a day after the night, otherwise the crops will die and so will humans. After night after day, otherwise we all shrivel up and die. It a perfect equation or else life would be impossible to live. Electron and protons, life and death. good and bad. rich and poor. Do you need more. One without the other cannot survive.

I believe God is love and has all the qualities of love--which means that, though God is the most powerful motivating force in the universe, it can't act where it is not present, and it cannot directly affect natural events.

All the proof I need that God exists is the proof that love exists. But you can't hold love in your hand. You can't quantify it, you can't _prove_ that it exists because, to do that, you would have to be able to read minds. All you can do is observe the results of human acts which have been attributed to love, observe that people give it a common definition, and then decide for yourself whether it exists.

only if you got a rocket ship will i join... actually the truth is that people have seeked answers to these questions since mans existance, with no luck. and in all honesty i dont think answering all of lifes questions will help any. cuz if you think about it what would humans do if we did happen to discover everything there is to know? there would be no point in living really.... EXCEPT TO PARTY UP, GET WASTED AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! a toast to not knowing.

It's you again, oh she who lives an empty existence. You found a crusade for yourself. Bravo! You're trying to get a life at last.

I'll pass on your quest. I no longer seek, because I've found the answers in my tiny but intelligent brain, which is capable of applying logic and reason to any conundrum (or else I just say "I don't know). Good luck!

To me, God was created to explain the unknown. Quite similar to how the Greeks created their gods to explain why the sun rose and why people have so many vices (Pandora's box). I don't see why Christianity is any different from religions in the past besides a savior coming to die for sins; which is a pretty gloomy aspect.

There will never be any proof of the most important things. Maybe its time we stop trying to judge everything by measuring and weighing it and going with our hearts. Cold logic never soothes the soul.

I see you've never experienced miracles like I have.
And no, I'm not a religious fanatic.
In the military we seen many who took your view but during some really tough situations, they quickly changed their thinking.
I still talk with one who is now far more spiritual than I.
I hope someday you to will experience the joy many of us have by having these beliefs.

Modern science will soon prove that the God Yahweh exists and this discovery will force the whole world to follow His scientific instructions found in The Bible, Torah and The Dead Sea Scrolls to survive on Earth or else become extinct.

A believers testimony is all the proof he/she needs and they don't have to prove that to anybody. Usually all they want to do is share their experiences. What wrong with that? I say let people believe in whatever they want. They are not physically hurting you by having different beliefs are they?
