Maybe contact your local council and ask or even Hospices for children that may want help. Well done you on giving your time on Christmas day and thinking of others. Hope you find someone who will appreciate your help xxxxxxxxxxx

The Salvation Army
A Hospice
Local Council
However you will need to have a Child Protection Act Clearance (Grey Form) The body you choose to work for will ask you to fill in a form and it will take about ten days for the Grey form to be returned to your home address. So volunteer now> I hope you have discussed this with your family because you could find yourself in for a row if you have not

Volunteering for a service that operates 24-7 might fit the bill. Shelters for homeless people often put on a Christmas dinner which necessitates extra staff is one idea
