none. You would actually choose a religion on such a whim? Don't think much of your life then, do you? To be brainwashed or not to be brainwashed. That is your question. Better read up on a few things. You have some learning to do before you make such a life changing decision. I was a fundie, Pagan, now Atheist. I went through the 12 step detox from god program. You're better off not looking into religion at this. time. Best to grow up a little more first. I say this with kindness and sincerity.

I suggest Hinduism. An ancient religion which is widely misunderstood and a religion whose wrongs are more highlighted by the media than its good.

But you urself take a look at all religions, read their books and choose the one which you feel is best. Any religion which doesnt hurt others and gives peace is a good religion.

The reason I suggest hinduism is a complete religion and has all answers to the mysteries of science. Right from Evolution of life to end of it. Once you understand it in a deeper way Hinduism will amaze you with.

Blessed are you to have no religion.
Its a state of mind that all truly Spiritual beings strive for.

Definitely God is more important than His "Laws" as made and advocated by men(as religion) in his name for the sole purpose of controlling their lives and more importantly their pockets and to keep them eternally divided and fighting against each other in the name of God.

If God is what you want to experience you don't need religion.
In fact keep away from it.

Develop a keen sense of observing others, follow the rational humanitarian principles, believe in your own self and you will get connected to the supreme.

We have wasted innumerable lives following the majority rule. 'Majorities' count in democracies. 'My order' counts in autocracies. 'Nothingness' counts in communism and atheism. All are wrong orders.

In my view no religion is existing today, without falling into one of the groups listed above.

Of the three above, worst is the democratic order in matters of religion. It is because of our tradition to fall in line with our parental/ social or majority, line of thinking that we blindly and conveniently following in the rat race.

The best course (call that religion if you like) left to the human beings to follow, is the path for realization of the soul as our real selves. That is possible only with the grace of a living saint. You need to find Him somehow. May be you need to cry out to find Him.

Choose the one that speakes of a God who will never punish you for anything or threaten you with amy hell or heaven. One that does not interfere with your life or any body else's amnd would not say that if yu do not fear HUM he will cast you unto hell.
choose the one who will mind HIS own business and let you do yours .choose th eonw who gives you patience and wisdom of a highest order and would show himself up in anythg and everythg you see and so would gieve you a feeling that HE is around you ands in yu all the time so that yu would feel secure like a baby when the mother is around ..
Read the scriptures of all th major religions you know and decide for yourself which is good and helpful to you understand yourself and the world around you first , before unmderstanding the ununderstandable God.Take the one that will helop you live a peaceful and full life instead of requiring yu to spend your whole life in the service of that God ..
every one knows that he has one life for sure .you need none to conviunce yu that yu have this one life .But no one can ensure you anohter one and it has never been proved to any one ever since the creatioin of this world till this moment .So oinsted of doiong anything in expectation of an uncertain life , please do not waste the sure one on hand .Make goiod use of it and let every one make goiod use of it .
For ths you need no religion really .if only you need a religioins just chjoose tjhe one tht would grant you full freedom to do what ever is good for you without harming or interfereing with others .
no one can gie yu and unbiased suggestio in this regard as everyone wants efery one else to embrace his own religion.
but i would tell you that you have to decide for yourself by looking into the scriptures and finding if there is in any of them thre is anythikng that you want for a full and peaceful life with a non-interfereing God .and his agents .

Ninja,

You may be looking for Divine inspiration in yahoo answers and that might work.

I'm Jewish, but I'd never recommend you become Jewish just because I am. But I'd also suggest you not leave it out of your spiritual journey.

Right now, you may be in the situation the Jews were when we left Egypt. We had stripped ourselves of physical pleasures to a large extent and were on a 40 year journey in the desert. There were 42 encampments along the way.

You life will likely parallel this journey. There will be starts and stops, fallings away and comings back, changes of churches, changes of faiths, good times and bad times. It's all part of the plan.

Rather than letting us pick it for you, I'd suggest looking at the people around you for the ones that are the most spiritual. And for the ones who express this in kindness to others.

Then ask them what they do. Visit their church enough times to see if you like it. If you don't, repeat the process until you find one you do like.

May you be blessed in your spiritual journey.

If you are truly serious about finding religion in your life I would recommend not searching online where you are going to get ridiculous answers like those above.

Religion is not about finding a church that fits your beliefs.

Instead find a church that fits God's will. And believe what God wants you to be. When you find God you will be in the right religion.

People on this sight are full of misinformation. Putting your future in their hands could be dangerous.

Taoism which has basically the same philosophical teachings of Buddhism and btw, Bruce Lee was a follower of Taoism.

And always remember to not be pushed into joining some religion, follow your gut instinct.

The best is the religion in which you were born. b coz u ought to have some glimpses of it even if u deny.
The religion is nothing but cosmology and code of conduct if you see analytically.
It is the faith that is important.
If u believe in God, it is your best shelter in bad times. It is most soothing thing in pain. So believe in God. Leave aside rituals. By beptising, you do not get anything from any religion.
I would suggest you take a short course in Brahmakumaris. one of their hundreds of centres must be nearby. They will give you some basic concept and teach you meditation. It will soothe you.

no religion is bigger than the religion of humanity.
u cant take up any religion like if u are going to wear a dress of others opinion.
i advice u to do some research or survey on various religions and their actions on net or by talking to your elders.
then u can easily find out the good points of any religion and will certainly pick the religion with most good things.
remeber too . religion doesn't means to differentiate people on bases of caste or something else.it is just a mean to reach closer to the god.
take care
god helps u
bye
