It depends on the wine. Some wines are meant to be enjoyed when they are young.

Depends on the wine. Have you ever heard of Beaujolais Vintage?Greek wines don't even travel down the road, let alone last long enough to 'age'. Do some research into which age well and which are best drunk young. If you get it wrong then you could be waiting for ever and open a real donkey!!

Watch out... NOT necessarily!

Red wines can be aged, and generally improve with ageing. They're generally the ones you would drink at more or less room temperature.

But white and rosé wines don't: they turn bad. They have to be drunk younger. They're also the ones you'd drink chilled.

Edit: You also have to know how to keep the wine you're going to age: away from sunlight, in a cool place (that's what wine cellars are for), in the right position... And it helps if it's a decent wine to begin with! :-)

If it tastes like worshire sauce, then the cork has long gone undesirable and air has corrupted the wine. whilst air gets to wine this is going to ultimately supply it a vinager like style and aroma. older wines have a extra robust danger of being subject to this because of the fact of time. fee has to do with age, classic, and rarity.
