If they believed that they would be agnostic

The term "higher power" is used in 12 step groups, to which I belong. However, I had a very hard time accepting the concept.

But yes, I do believe there is a "higher power" and that is love. That's it, that's all. This drunk can't understand anything else.

You don't need to have a religion or even believe in "God", just believe in "Love".

Tell me what you spend your time and money on and I'll tell you what your "God" is.

Peace.

The very definition of atheism is not believing a higher power exists. If they believe there's probably something but they don't know what they're agnostic, like me. ;-)

Nope....but i will say this in fairness. if there is a god or higher power, he/she or it needs to come down to earth and effing prove it....im tired of all the squabbling between religions.

Don't give me the jesus thing, or quote the bible or koran....all debatable....im talking real evidence like you would see in a movie. The guy in the sky in todays world proving it...anything short of that....no god.

No. A more intelligent lifeform on another planet perhaps but nothing with supernatural abilities or that could be considered a "god". It's simply illogical and beyond reason.

possible?

Yes

But then it's also possible that this life is just a dream and we're all being kept unconscious and used as a power source by sentient machines.

In these matters there is no absolute certainty. But I say if you're 99.999999% sure there isn't any, why call yourself an agnostic?

Possible. Is it god? That's another question entirely.
