I ask because when I use to go to church.. a lot of people pretended to sing, and didn't even know the words.. lol

YES ! ! , but I'm not in the choir or anything ,just a member of the congregation , My favourite hymn is "Immortal, Invisible God Only Wise" etc
Please don't pick "Davids" Answer as the best one , he's gone on about biblical things etc when all that was required to answer this question was a reference to SINGING ! !
(maybe he's on a "Mission From God")

I rarely attend church things, but when I do. I do two things. I respect it and follow along the best I know (if that includes singing so be it). And two, I read as much literature as I can while I am there so I understand the people around me.

If I know the song then I sing. But when we visit churches like Catholic or something were the music is diff I pretend if I feel like it or I just look around and listen if I don't feel like pretending....sometimes if I know the words and dnt feel like particapating...then I look around and listen!!....ya know there is no rule, or law or anything.

yes i sing in church i started singing since i was a young girl, i am one of the lead singer on my choir and every one always ask me to sing. singing is a great blessing and i love to sing i have do singing in quite a few wedding and gatherings.

Yes I do sing in church because its glorifying to God as when David wrote Psalms and if didnt sing i think God would Know and I would hate to offend my Heavenly Father. But if had a bad voice i probably wouldn't.

No, the church hymns and praise and worship song aren't my taste.
I love R&B, Hip Hop music as well as Christian R&B and Holy Hip Hop.
No Christian music can be as cool as Secular music.

I love singing, I also sing at work, and annoy the he** out of my coworkers everyday
